Detailed scale model kit of a historic Lisbon tram designed for the “de Carris de Ferro” company between 1936 and 1940. These trams were considered among the safest in Lisbon, featuring a reinforced braking system to handle varied conditions and steep slopes. The original vehicles were equipped with five types of brakes: pneumatic, mechanical, electric, electromagnetic with rods, and mechanical with rods, along with two powerful 45 hp Metropolitan Vickers electric motors and a Brill 21-E type chassis. The design followed the classic American Brill style but stood out with a distinctly curved roof, a characteristic that remained in service until around 1985–1987.
