This detailed ship model kit is presented at a 1:54 scale and is designed for experienced model builders. The assembled model measures approximately 915 mm in length, 720 mm in height, and 345 mm in width, with a complexity level described as advanced.

The fregata β€žDosnumasβ€œ was originally built in 1783 as a cargo vessel and was later acquired by the Royal Navy to transport breadfruit trees from Haiti to the Caribbean islands. The breadfruit was intended as a food source for enslaved workers on sugar cane plantations. In 1787, under the command of Captain William Bligh, the ship departed England on a long voyage that included a ten-month journey to Tahiti. Due to delays, the planned onward voyage to the Caribbean was also postponed.

During this expedition a mutiny took place on board, during which the mutineers ordered the arrest of Captain Bligh and eighteen loyal sailors, setting them adrift at sea. After 41 days, Bligh successfully completed the journey and reached the Timor Islands.

This Occre kit offers an impressive and unique model that requires particular precision, especially when assembling the internal decks, which are not usually visible in standard ship models. Detailed assembly instructions are provided in English.
