This Nintendo Switch action game from PlatinumGames puts you in the role of a member of Neuron, a special police unit created to combat mysterious alien beings invading a near-future metropolis called Ark. As portals to another dimension open across the city, dangerous creatures emerge, leaving destruction behind and overwhelming normal police forces.

At the beginning of the game, you can choose to play as either a male or female character. The character you do not select appears as your younger twin and serves alongside you in Neuron. To fight the invaders, humanity has developed Legion, a special living weapon that acts as your partner. Legion assists in combat and investigation, and its full potential is revealed through coordinated attacks and exploration.

Combat features multiple Legions, each with distinct abilities and fighting styles. You can fight together against a single enemy, divide your efforts between multiple targets, or send Legion to the front lines while you provide support with items. The synergy system allows you to switch between different Legions during battle and also use their skills to investigate the environment and solve puzzles.

The story takes you into the Astral Plane, an alternate dimension that is the origin of the invading beings. Directed by Takahisa Taura of NieR:Automata fame and supervised by Hideki Kamiya, creator of the Bayonetta series, this title features character designs by manga artist Masakazu Katsura, known for works such as ZETMAN and Video Girl Ai.
