Magic: The Gathering Journey into Nyx Prerelease Pack – Forged in War

Unleash the red path of the Theros block with the Magic: The Gathering Journey into Nyx Prerelease Pack – Forged in War. Released for the 2014 Journey into Nyx Prerelease, this sealed MTG product is part of the five-pack color cycle created for the Forge a Godslayer Hero's Path.

The Forged in War Prerelease Pack features the premium Spawn of Thraxes Prerelease promo card and the Axe of the Warmonger Hero Card. The included seeded Journey into Nyx booster is weighted toward red cards, giving the original Prerelease experience its color-specific identity.

What's Included

  • 2 Journey into Nyx booster packs
  • 2 Theros booster packs
  • 1 Born of the Gods booster pack
  • 1 red-aligned seeded Journey into Nyx booster pack
  • 1 premium Prerelease promo card – Spawn of Thraxes
  • 1 Hero Card – Axe of the Warmonger
  • 1 Forge a Godslayer activity card
  • 1 Spindown life counter
  • 1 welcome letter

The five Journey into Nyx Prerelease paths were tied to Magic's five colors: Glory for white, Intellect for blue, Tyranny for black, War for red and Pursuit for green. Each version has its own promo and Hero Card.

Journey into Nyx was the third and final set of the Theros block, making these Prerelease Packs particularly relevant to collectors of original Theros-era sealed MTG products.
