This Nintendo amiibo figure allows interactive gameplay with compatible titles on Wii U and Nintendo 3DS systems. By touching the figure to the NFC touch point on the Wii U GamePad controller during supported games, data is transferred between the amiibo and the game. As you play, the data stored in the figure is updated, allowing you to develop a unique amiibo over time.
In Super Smash Bros. for Wii U, you can transfer data from the amiibo directly into the game and battle with it. The amiibo can gain additional skills and game attributes, such as increased strength and new moves, and you can customize its moveset within the game.
