Nintendo Switch ARMS Game – Motion-Control Boxing Multiplayer Fighter
Experience an innovative motion-controlled fighting game designed for the Nintendo Switch system. This title introduces extendable arms and dynamic arenas, combining elements of boxing and shooting games for an engaging multiplayer combat experience.
Players can customize their characters with a variety of weapons and then use one Joy-Con controller in each hand to throw left and right punches, curve attacks, and execute jumps and dodges. As skills improve, more advanced tactics and strategies can be discovered, offering depth for both casual and competitive play. The game supports play against the computer, with friends locally on split-screen using an additional set of Joy-Con controllers (sold separately), online, or using two Nintendo Switch consoles for local multiplayer.
Designed around the versatility of Nintendo Switch Joy-Con controllers, this game takes full advantage of motion controls and unique input features. Two Joy-Con controllers can be used separately in each hand, attached to a Joy-Con grip as a single controller, connected directly to the console in handheld mode, or shared with another player for two-player multiplayer in compatible titles. Each Joy-Con includes a complete set of buttons, an accelerometer, and a gyroscopic motion sensor, enabling precise independent motion control for both left and right hands.
The left Joy-Con features a Capture button for taking instant gameplay screenshots with a single press, which can be shared via social networks. The right Joy-Con includes an NFC touchpoint for amiibo interaction and an IR motion camera capable of detecting distance, shape, and movement of nearby objects in specially designed games. This allows the system to recognize hand distance and shapes during gameplay.
Both Joy-Con controllers support HD rumble technology, delivering realistic vibration feedback in compatible games. This advanced rumble system provides detailed tactile sensations, enhancing immersion beyond traditional audio and visual effects.
