Weighing approximately 275 g, it is easy to carry and ideal for travel or daily commuting.
This Nintendo Switch Lite supports all Nintendo Switch software that can be played in Handheld mode, making it a versatile portable gaming system. It does not include HD rumble or an IR Motion Camera and cannot be connected to a TV or placed in a Nintendo Switch docking station, ensuring a dedicated handheld gaming experience.
For games that require Joy-Con features such as HD rumble, IR Motion Camera, or motion sensors, additional Joy-Con controllers can be connected wirelessly (sold separately). For titles that do not support Handheld mode, players can still enjoy them by pairing Joy-Con controllers wirelessly (sold separately), with a Joy-Con charging grip required for charging.
Local multiplayer is supported by linking up to eight Nintendo Switch or Nintendo Switch Lite consoles for cooperative or competitive play. With a Nintendo Switch Online membership, players can participate in online multiplayer, play with friends or other players worldwide, and access compatible online features and content. Battery life depends on the software used and playing conditions, but is designed to last longer than the flagship Nintendo Switch in comparable usage.
